Creating a sustainable energy future

Energy Science and Engineering's (ESE) mission is to develop and apply the engineering science and educate the future leaders needed to transform global energy supply, production/conversion, storage, and use to achieve energy sustainability. Our vision is that combination of theory, experiment, and simulation of energy systems and their components transforms the global energy system to sustain people’s present and future energy needs while reducing environmental impacts and other negative consequences.
